Meet Rebecca Baibak
My passion for working with immigrants began in 2012, when I interned with Catholic Charities’ Refugee Resettlement program in Cincinnati, Ohio. That summer, the individuals I worked with inspired me with their fortitude and resolution to persist. This passion led me to work with refugees in Louisville, Kentucky, and Cleveland, Ohio.
After graduating Xavier University, I interned with the Jesuit Refugee Services in Johannesburg, South Africa. The harsh conditions faced by the thousands of refugees living there left a lasting impression on me. Desiring to better serve the immigrant population, I went to law school and graduated the University of Cincinnati, College of Law in 2018 at the top of my class.
From there, I specialized in immigration law. I first practiced at the Hammond Law Group (now Corporate Immigration Partners) and then at the Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati. I have represented noncitizens in a variety of family, employment, and humanitarian matters. I have helped top executives from name-brand companies obtain work visas and represented undocumented children in immigration removal proceedings. But my passion is working with immigrant families. As a mother of four, I understand the necessity of keeping families united and stable.
My goal is to keep your family together through lawful immigration status.
